Alicia Isaura Chalfant, 80, of Clermont, died Monday, September 2, 2019.
Ms. Chalfant was born on September 28, 1928 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She enjoyed dancing, sweet red wine, and loved flowers and trees. She was an avid animal lover, especially dogs, cats, and birds.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother that will be deeply missed.
Ms. Chalfant is preceded in death by her parents, Eduard and Prvidencia Fuentes.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Schelmety, Jr. and his wife Evelyn, and Douglas Schelmety; sister, Luz Miriam Loyola; grandchildren, Jonathan Schelmety and Stephanie Schelmety, and a great granddaughter, Madison Sofia Baker.
